What the Portal does
The Placement Portal is IEC’s hiring platform. Organizations post jobs and review applicants. Candidates build profiles, apply, and manage interviews. IEC administrators oversee programs and placement operations.
Candidates
Build a professional profile, apply to roles, and track interview invitations, times, and meeting details.
Interviews
Schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel interviews, including optional Google Meet links for online conversations.
Why we request Google access
Google Calendar Integration
Company members can optionally connect their Google Calendar when scheduling interviews. The Placement Portal checks calendar availability to help prevent scheduling conflicts, creates interview events on the connected calendar, and updates or removes those events when interviews are rescheduled or cancelled.
Connecting a calendar is optional. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Calendar, or revoke access in your Google Account. How we access, use, store, and share Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy.
